I am looking for an "errtext" or historically informed edition of the
Beethoven Duos for clarinet and bassoon. I own an edition by Verlag
Friedrich Hofmeister-Frahnkfurt am Main, which states in its preface "The
first two duets, which Beethoven originally wrote for C clarinets, have
been transposed for Bb clarinets according to the modern practice." (OK,
it *was* modern practice in 1959 when the edition was published!). The
editor is Kurt Mederacke.
I also have access to another edition, Osterreichisher Budesverlag, Wein
(1950), but this also has the clarinet parts in Bb. This edition is edited by
Friedrich Wildgans.

I'd like to find an edition for clarinet in C, if possible.
