I remember Gallodoro as a legendary musician, with my first exposure
to his playing occurring when I was a teenager in the 1940s. It was for
that reason that I read with interest a recently published biographical
article about the man in the May-June 1994 issue of "The Clarinet."

That issue has a picture of Gallodoro with Paul Whiteman on the cover.
The article, by Frank S. Riordan, Jr., is entitled, "The Incomparable
Al Gallodoro," and discusses his career of 67 years.

Perhaps this is the kind of information you are looking for.
