Vibrato is not traditionally taught for the clarinet. I'll go "out on the
limb" to suggest that the reason it is not taught is that it does not
sound "pleasing" on the clarinet as compared to the flute or saxophone. I
recall reading somewhere in a book on clarinet playing that the author
felt that this might be due to the lack of even partials in the clarinet.
However, it seems to me that clarinetists do use some vibrato but that it
is very subte.
I would enjoy hearing other opinions on this subject!
