I'm really don't have much experience with jazz playing, but I know that the
instrument isn't the only factor to consider. I think it's possible to play
jazz on just about anything if you change your setup (mouthpiece & reed).
Anyhow, I'm not familiar with the Leblanc lines, but I know that the Buffet
Festival model is intended for jazz, and you could also look into Selmer,
since that's what Benny Goodman played on. But I just wanted to caution
those who might not already know, that it's not worth investing in a jazz
clarinet w/o a jazz mouthpiece and proper reed.
Do listen to other replies, though, since I'm by no means an expert in the
field!
