Buy the "Heifitz Plays Baroque" CD. It is the finest clarinet playing
(much of it solo, the rest with piano accomp.) I have heard on disc. Even
if you hate Handel, Pacabel, et al. you quite possibly will like this.
The one CD I have that non-musicians ask "What's this stuff . . . I love
it"

I am a horn player but have been growing to like the clarinet more and
more recently. Can someone recommend me a good CD of clarinet solos to
start out with?
