Weber played on an Oehler system Fritz Wurlitzer bass--had a set of reform
Boehm Fritz Wurlitzer clarinets (I seriously considered purchasing them in
1968). His basset horn was Fritz Wurlitzer Oehler--it is my understanding
that these instruments are with the CSO--in fact Larry Combs used the
basset horn when the clarinets of the CSO did their double CD of the Mozart
basset horn music. I am not sure about the Bb-A set--someone may have
purchased them from Weber.
