Hi, everyone!

Concerning the studentwho was started on e-flat clarinet because her hands were
too small, there is only one thing missing. If you also taught this person, and
all your beginning clarinet students, for that matter, to play double lip
embochure from the start, they would be at a great advantage later in life. if
anyone doubts me, please consult Tom Ridenour's wonderful article on double-lip
embochure a few years ago in The Clarinet. And John Bruce Yeh, if you see this,
I would very much appreciate any input you may have on the subject of
double-lip embochure. If anyone knows John's e-mail address, please let me
know.
