In last november I was with Mr. Alan Damiens. He is clarinetist from
Ensemble Interconterporein, directed by Mr. Boulez.
I made the same question and he told me that piece was wrote for him, and he
talked with Mr. Berio was impossible play without low Eb, and he change this
part for anothe multphonic. I don't have this "new" piece, but, maybe,
somebody in Klarinet can help you.
