In focusing my sound, I imagine a laser beam -- my teacher tells me to
"laser beam the sound to a specific point in the room." So I pick a scratch
or something on the wall and imagine sending my sound directly to that
specific spot. I find that my sound is less round, and hence more clear.
It's nice to have a very rich tone, but it should still be under control.
