The German and reform Boehm Wurlitzer clarinet has been praised in the
Gibson book "Clarinet Acoustics" and a reform Boehm Wurlitzer is used by
the American peformer Charles Stier. I had been told they were available
only on a made-to-order basis. Your post evidently confirms this. I have
fantasies of acquiring one----they will remain fantasies, undoubtedly!!!!

I am an amateur clarinetist living in Indonesia, using Buffet RC Bb
instrument.

My teacher is German trained and using German system, made-to-order
Wurlitzer A & Bb clarinets made in the 60's (that's when he studied in
Germany). He told me the instrument maker is supposed to be one of the
finest in the (German?) clarinet world.

Out of curiousity, could anybody inform me more about this particular
brand?
