Karl,
I tried them in Oklahoma last summer and I liked the consistency.
Muncy woodwinds (800-333-6415) carries them at $9.95. They come in a
single and double cut. The single cut are harder than the double cut. I
get the double cut. Try some strengths around what your playing. I played
a V12 4 and use a Regal 4 1/2 but this might vary for you. They start
somewhat hard and soften up in a week.
I've talked to Ricardo Morales and he uses them on Eb (cut off 1/2"
from the heel so they clear the barrel ring).
