Just an addendum to the receding tide re: transposing clar's; I heard of
a player who to make it easier got in the practice of performing the
entire Debussy Rhapsodie on his A clar., thus transposing all of the
fearsome licks up a semi-tone! Take that, subtlety of tone colour!
