Bert Hara is the new pricipal clarinetist of the PO, beginning next fall. The
runner up was John Bruce Yeh. The other finalists were Richard Hawley, my
former colleague in Charleston and now principal in Cincinnati and Mark
Nuccio, second clarinetist in Pittsburgh.
