Everyone who is truly in the position of getting into a major orchestra is
going to have a beautiful and varying sound. But I know someone who went
against Combs in the finals in Chicago years ago and lost due to this error,
he rushed an entrance in the slow movement of Beethoven 6th when silently
counting all those eighth rests. That's rhythm my boy and it counts above
all!
