I have a talented college freshman clarinet major how has a LeBlanc LL
Bb clarinet and will not be able to replace it for some time. Has anyone
experimented with tapered barrels with the Double LL clarinets? Are
their any cost effective suggestions for improving the centeredness
(notice I did not use the dreaded dark/bright words) of this horn?
He is using one of Jim Pyne's "Clarion" mouthpieces (quite good) with
V-12's. Thanks!
