Mark, if you switch brands from A to Bb clarinets, you will be changing
physical feel, blowing resistance, as well as pitch tendencies. Each
brand seems to have its different pitch tendencies. The 10G will stay in
good pitch on the upper left hands tones, a b c. By comparision, the R13
will tend to be high on these tones, as well as the throat tones.. If
your son likes the 10 G stay with it. I've p;ayed a set of them for
three years now, and are very satisfied with them. Mike Cavin
