I know of two pieces for basset horn and piano you might be interested
in. One is the Sonata in F Major, Op. 62 of Franz Danzi. It is
published by Hofmeister, and has been recorded by Keith Puddy on the
Clarinet Classics label. I read somewhere that it is the only major
sonata written for basset horn and piano. Karl Stamitz also wrote a
concerto for basset horn, which is published by Amadeus Verlag in
Switzerland. It comes with a version for Bb clarinet also. Hope this
