Klarinet Archive - Posting 000126.txt from 1996/03

Apologies in advance to anyone offended by FS posts in the mailing
list.
Several months ago, A friend of mine in Memphis convinced me to
purchase Autoscore, a software program that takes input from a normal
soundcard and converts it into notation. Harmonica, sax, clarinet,
voice, etc. makes no difference. The software simply takes any single
note melody (no chords) and converts it into a midi file or standard
notation.
I've seen the software work under windows, and its a great aid for
those who don't have a midi keyboard handy.
Unfortunately, it won't work under OS/2. Hence my offer.
The software lists for $150, and I've seen it in catalogs for $80.
I'll sell my copy for $60. All manuals, mic, and disks in pristine
condition. Just e-mail if interested.
