Judy you sayed,

I play bass clarinet and use a double lip embouchure, It gives me alot more
coltrol of tone quality and pitch. However, I find I can only use it through
about half of a rehearsal, then my upper lip gets too tired. Any
suggestions?

I say,
In my 8 years of playing the bass clarinet the best
embouchure is that of a clarinet embouchure. You shouldn't have to
be worrying about tone quality and pitch anymore than a normal
clarinetist would. The only difference being that the bass is
obviously bigger, your main aim should be to aim for a clarinet
emouchure.
