I hate to get into any "is best-better than" discussion. However, the M13
which is designed for use with the Buffet R13 really will play at an A440
level--but how may groups do you play in that are really at that pitch?
The Vandoren 5RV Lyre--not being as good as any other Vandoren mouthpiece
is a bit hard to justify--especially for the many fine players throughout
the world that really play the mouthpiece.

I do not mean to start an argument--just try to get you to think about your
equipment--your needs--etc.
