I'd like to send my 15 year-old clarinetist to music camp this summer.
I've already investigated the "well-known" ones (Interlochen, Blue Lake)
in this area, but the cost for these was prohibitive. (I have two other
young musicians in the house who'll want to go to music camp soon, and
I have to try and keep things relatively equal). I'll be contacting
Chautauqua today, but that's probably a bit pricey, too.

I've noticed that Universities have much more reasonable costs for
camp - I've looked at FSU & NAU programs. Since I'm living in Detroit,
I'm looking for something within a days' drive (500 mile range).

I couldn't find anything on the U of M web page or Eastman School
or other Universities within that radius. Does anyone know of good
programs at Universities in my neck of the woods?

Thanks,
