Then if my logic follows, my R-13 would feel clumsy and awkward! I truely
doubt that Buffet spends much time aligning and adjusting the keywork on each
plastic Buffet that is assembled. Although the keys may be the same shape
and size, I believe there is bit more to assembling a clarinet than simply
screwing them in. In spite of what the specs say, or what Buffet says, all of
the plastic Buffets that I have had the displeasure of encountering do not
play well when brand new, and tend to be less rugged over time than other
beginner models. I'm just giving my opinion; it's not worth an arguement:
If you like them for your students, use them. I do not.
