If my memory serves me right--there was a series of clarinet choirs that
were published by Leblanc under the direction of the educational director
Lucien Caillet that included Ab sopranino parts. All marked optional--
I have heard and seen this instrument in action in some European Bands--
rarely encountered it here--UW-Madison has one--kept in a steel box--
and unleashed only when really required--which in the years I spent there
as a student was never.
