Roger,

Although I played a Selmer at this time period I noticed the same
markings. Before I did my posting yesterday I checked with the owner of
Merdian Winds in East Lansing Michigan. He does all of my repairs and
also for people like Don Sinta. Although I was trying to answer a
question about where the Master model fit it to the Buffet line it was he
that stated the earlier models were not called R13's.

One person already forcefully toldy me this isn't the case. If this is
so I would like to know. I tried to get my facts straight before the
posting. I guess I should have called Paris.
