Bill,

I doubt if you changed the acoustics of your clarinet. You probably
have some how bent your 1+1 bridge key. In one position your Bb/F pad
is not covering and in the rotated position it is covering. Also, try
"wiggling" your clarinet at the middle joint. It should not move very
much at all. If it is moving, there is no way to keep your bridge key
in a consistent position. Get to a good repair person and have him/her
check it out.
