Hi everyone,
I just recently bought a reed knife and so far I LOVE IT. But I am curious
as to why one would prefer one blade style over another. I bought a Prestini
with a combo blade. Since I am left-handed, I use the flat blade side more than
the hollow ground side. (Otherwise, I would have had to order a lefty knife,
which could take forever, as I have heard Prestini is really slow.) My
professor has both kinds and he seems to use them interchangeably without
preference. Also, how does one sharpen them and how often? Now that I've spent
the $ on it, I want it to last.
