Oh, fun, practicing in an apartment building with LOTS of neighbours all
around you! Critics everywhere!

Seriously, though, a couple of possibilities --

If you have a walk-in closet, and aren't too claustrophobic, try
practicing in there with all the clothes and clutter. It will help
absorb the sound. Otherwise, find an interior space or room that's away
from as many other apartments as possible. Shut the windows and doors.
Also, most folks don't appreciate hearing Daphnis after about 9:00 p.m.
I don't know what their problem is, but go with it.

Since I live with a timpanist (who lately has been working on Rite of
Spring), I'm very aware of neighbours and noise problems! Thank God we
just bought a house!
