Sean,
I can flutter tongue on flute, on trumpet, and if conditions are right,
on tuba. However, my major instrument is sax, and I just can't seem to overcome
the fact that there is SOMETHING IN THE WAY! ;-)
BTW, I have a colleague who tells me about his circular breathing - on
sax (his major inst), French horn (which he plays *WELL* in a community band
that I play in), on tuba... I asked him twice on this next one, as I knew he
must have misspoken himself... ON FLUTE! (I have not heard this myself...)
As for my own circular breathing, I am trying to (blow air out of my
mouth while breathing in through my nose) as I drive. Eventually, I should get
it right.
