Greetings... no, I've never done any of those except the V-L (which I like
a lot too). My wife and I tried the Jolivet once, but gave up on it- it
seemed like too much work at the time and not very "nice" (or something).
I'm sure we'll learn it eventually. We're doing the Muczynski Duos on this
upcoming program- after one reading they seem very "nice" (would
"audience-friendly" be a more useful description?) and much easier than
Jolivet :-). The main work we're doing together is the Bloch Concertino
(with piano). We wanted to try the Francaix Double Concerto, but the
pianists are too swamped (the music dept. here has three on faculty but one
is not doing any playing this year due to arm problems (tendonitis?)).

We're looking forward to it- it's funny how little we've played together,
given that we've been together about ten years...

regards, lgb
