If you have a case but need a cover, sometimes bags made for other
purposes prove more useful. For instance, for better or worse I have a
(old decrepit) Buffet pochette double case. The larger size of ballistic
nylon laptop computer briefcase takes the clarinet case in the main
section, and has plenty of pockets for music, math papers (I'm a math grad
student), tuner, and other clarinet paraphrenalia, even a bag lunch. I
bought a cheapo version for $20 (rather than a brand name bad for $100 or
more), and it's still fine after 4 years. I don't think it's the absolute
best possible double case, but it's cheap to add if you have a case
without cover and does what I need.
