Subj: Problems with confirming KLARINET

Sorry to bother everyone with this, but I have just tried forwarding the
message requiring me to confirm my membership of the KLARINET list back, as
instructed. I got a message telling me that I am not subscribed to the list.
I then tried sending a message confirming KLARINET, which received exactly
the same response. As I receive a vast number of messages from the list
every day, I have got a sneaking feeling that I am actually subscribed to it.
Please could anyone suggest a method of staying that way? I realise that I
could simply wait until I appear to have been removed and then re-subscribe,
but I would like to understand what I did wrong the first two times!
