I feel like I need to agree with Dan. All the messages were *very*
interesting to me, a caucasian country boy who now lives in a
predominently African-American city. I was happy for the very informative
posts, and saved them all to disk.

But to those for whom this is not interesting, I have to also say that at
least each post had a proper subject line, allowing the receiving party
to exercise his/her right to hit the delete key.

I mostly hesitate to waste the bandwidth to reply to this sort of post,
but ocaisionally after the fact I've felt that I should have. A "reply"
such as David's is equally wasteful, both to those who have no interest,
and to those of us who do, and find the "copy" clogging our mailbox.

For my money, a little common sense and judicious use of the "delete" key
goes a long way.
