David has objected to the summary of rap music that has appeared on
this list.

Personally, I find it fascinating and a wonderful insight into an
entertainment form about which I know (or should now say "knew")
nothing.

Like many people, I have an unfortunate tendency to look at any
forms of human interaction that I have little interest in as being
unworthy of humankind and beneath contempt, whereas the things
that I like are noble, dignified, and of great sociologic value.

So I look down my nose at football, rap music, heavy metal, etc.

But this discussion of rap music has shown me a side to it that
causes me to rethink my whole attitude towards those things that
happen not to interest me and I thank the submittor for posting
on the subject.

But David does have right on his side. It is not a topic for
a klarinet list even though it is a subject that should be of
interest to every musician.

Personally I have no objections to it.
