Kim,
I have been looking around for a Buffet R-13 clarinet and
earlier this year, while I was trying out some R-13's, I tried
out an Elite just to see what it was like. It was the only one
they had so I can't compare it to any others (they wanted
$6,000 for it!) I play on a Leblanc L-300...the Elite was not
near as good as my LeBlanc. The response wasn't great and I
didn't feel like the intonation was good either. The sound was
thin too. If someone could find a good setup for the instrument
it might be different but these were my impressions. I think
the Buffet R-13's are better (so is the price).
