To all those metal clarinet enthusiasts:

I have had the experience of playing a metal clarinet owned by a friend who
happens to be a superb musician. It produces a surprisingly decent tone, and
I would not hesitate to play it in a high level conducted ensemble. I hope
that my friend keeps it in playable shape as it is an interesting clarinet to
play. Usually will fool people who think that it is a piece of junk.
