As I second study bassoonist, I aquired a soft bassoon rucksack case.
It's very small and light and pretty secure in fact as it's well padded
with the sort of stuff they use for car upholstry. Better still my bass
fits it apart from the top E/Fsharp/f natural keys which can be padded
around. Over here they're about 150 pounds.
