What are "12ths" on a clarinet?

Is this the 12th harmonic? I read that the unique clarinet
voice is caused by the instrument resonating at only the odd harmonics.
(see Clarinet in the Encyclopedia Britannica)

Clarinets (wood) do wear out and the 12ths get funky.

If a tone is dull I usually open the hole diametrically, but that
does increase the 12th ratios a bit.
