There is a story of Gaston Hamelin being congratulated by Koussevitsky for
his wonderful playing in the Boston Symphony and then being summarily fired
when the conductor noticed the silver clarinet he was testing for Selmer
instead of the usual black wooden one. I wonder if the model you own is the
same??
