Not practicing is OK for a person that is treating music as a hobby,
however
if we have aspirations of musical or professional success practice must be
a
PRIORITY in our life.
The old saying,
Dont practice one day and you will know it....................
Dont practice two days and everyone else will know it.

Hi Just to add this little tid bit as a carrot for all of us. Last week
I
listened to a clarinetist who did some study in the effects of good
practice habits. One thing I got form the talk was that if you practice
correctly, and put in 10,000 Hours in ten years you will be among the very
best players... that
turns into about 3.65 Hrs a day. (for ten years)
