I've never played on anything except Rico reeds, but a little bird told me
that my director got a bunch of Vandorens. So I asked him about them, and
being the coolest director in the whole world, he just gave me three. Are
the Vandorens any harder than Rico though, because normally, I play a 4 on
Rico for clarinet (3 for tenor). He gave me 2 and 1/2's for tenor, will
they be ok? What is the best way to break them in? I'm new to the world of
reeds, I've always just taken what ever the director had.
