Subj: Harold Wright's Mouthpiece?
Date: Mon, 12 Feb 1996 19:27:20 -0500

In a recent posting by Chuck West...I believe, he wrote about
mouthpieces. I am curious about the brief mention regarding H. Wright
and his style of mouthpiece. It was suggested that Harold Wright used a
mouthpiece with an asymetrical facing.

This, I find curious. To my knowledge, Harold wright used a very old H.
Chedeville mouthpiece that from time to time as needed was refaced by
Everett Matson.

I know that Everett Matson does not like to use asymetrical facings and
find it odd that H. Wright chose to play a mouthpiece with an
asymetrical facing.

Please let me know the story...did H. Wright really use a mpc. that is
krooked?

Thanks,
Brad
