Dave Lane gave a few suggestions for sore lower lips during clarinet
playing, and I though I would add just one more.
I use Johnson and Johnson medical tape (has to be water-proof). It can
be found at any K-Mart or Wal-Mart, and it's CHEAP!! (One roll lasted me
throughout my entire undergraduate degree!) I rip off a piece about 1
and 1/2 inches long, fold it in half with the sticky part inside,
fold it in half again, and then put it on my lower teeth. I use it until it
falls apart, usually about a week.
Just a suggestion,
Mindy Miller
