Another great work for clarinet and orchestra is the concerto by Halsey
Stevens. I don't remember who it was written for, but it was recorded by
Mitchell Lurie back in the early 70's. It is published by Peer
International (distrib. by presser, I think). It is pretty difficult, but
well worth the time.
