Yes, Ernie Northway is still making clarinet and saxophone mouthpieces in
Utah. A colleague of mine who plays jazz sax and clarinet in the Boston
area swears by them. The three deciding factors that help him pick a
mouthpiece are that it must be:

1. Loud
2. Loud
3. Able to be heard over everyone else.

Apparently, Mr. Northway has helped him to realise this goal.
