Perier-b.1883-d.1947, A student at the Paris Conservatoire from 1900-1904.
Won the first prize there in 1905. Had great technique and throat vibrato.
He was first clarinet in Opera Comique and taught at the Conservatoire
fromm 1919 until his death. And yes he wrote that book Enseignement
complet de la clarinette, 5 VOLS. no less.
