Good point. It did occur to me that if it had ended with a typical
Hollywood sugar-coated (or saccharine-saturated) ending it might have been
even worse.

Hmm... I believe all those things, I just thought the film seemed to say it
doesn't matter if we fight, the arts will be cut anyway. I can hardly wait
'til I have kids so I can jump up and down at school board meetings to
demand support for the arts...
