To respond to Floyd Williams' question about the ICS composition
competition. I was the chair of the competition and Daniel Breedon's "Duo
for Violin and Clarinet" was the 1978 winner. It was premiered by Ramon
Kireilis at the 1979 International Clarinet Congress. I believe that it was
published after the premiere but, for the life of me, I can't remember by
whom. Ray teaches at the University of Denver and may know more about that.
