It's not your problem- for some reason Dan's messages usually (always?) are
sent with a "reply-to" line indicating his address instead of the list. If
you want your reply to go to the list you have to cut'n'paste or type it in
manually.

BTW, could everyone please note what I did to the subject line above?
We've been having a lot of mutant topics lately, for example my question
about Francaix and other trios for flute, clar. and piano spawned a
discussion of the Shostakovitch waltzes which was tangential to my
question. If your reply to a message changes the subject, please change the
subject line in your new message- it would really help sift through this
very active list.

I know someone will point out that it's ironic I should be saying this
after posting my rant about Mr. Holland's Opus, which is marginally
klarinet-related at best. I acknowledge this and apologize for the
irrelevance- I should have posted it to a newsgroup or mailed it the
minister of education.
