In the 1950's Bernard Walton recorded the Mozart concerto with the Philharmonia
Orchestra for Angel. I am sorry I do not have the LP#--and I am not sure if
the work has been re-issued on CD. During the first movement in the solo
line (the whole notes) Walton played a series of arpeggiated figures. *as
I recall when this recording came out it caused a good deal on controversy.
I remember when Walto died in 71 or 72 Brymer did a broadcast tribute a
few days later on the BBC and this recording was featured. Does anyone out
there know of this LP?
