Well, I have to admit I was curious, too -- but then we Europeans tend
to have a twisted view of what Americans like to do with their
possessions.

Personally, I'm delighted with the reasoning behind your proposed
donations. (Sadly, no-one's ever likely to want my collection of
assorted publications...)
